My little sister is graduating from 6th grade this year and I wanna remain the “totally awesome groovy light of her life” big brother that I am now. So I’m going against my dad’s wishes and getting her a cell phone. (Mom is in on it too, but I’m taking the wrap for her. She SO owes me.)

Antywayzz, do you think that 1000 text messages and 200 minutes is too few for a first month with a cell? I don’t wanna just be stingy, but I think the first month should be about learning to use a cell phone properly before upgrading to the unlimited package.

And am I a bad person for getting the $20 nokia el-cheapo model? I just think it’s irrational to start her out with a $300 phone before she even knows how to balance her usage. That’s how you end up with Paris Hilton… and I will not be brothering a Hilton child.
